This was an excellent story with so many layers. It was unique in that it gave a realistic portrayal of living someone suffering with alcoholism. Highly recommend.

I found this to be a great reflection of motherhood and self-hood. It was less about religion and more about martyrdom, blind faith, and performance. The writing style clearly reflected Natalie’s distortion of reality and delusion. Overall a great, debate sparking read.
